Cardio Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Record patient vital signs, height, weight, and BMI during visits.
• Assist with medical assessments and monitor patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health system.
• Take patients to exam rooms and prepare them for doctor’s visits, including EKGs, BP checks, and medication reconciliation.
• Manage medication inventory and order supplies.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and safety regulations.
• Address patient concerns and relay messages to healthcare providers.
• Provide clear instructions on prescribed medications, treatments, and dietary plans.
• Stock rooms, scan records, and prepare/screen telehealth visits.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred, but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
