About the role

TouchPoint is seeking a Cardiac Transplant Dietitian in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

  • Become part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team serving patients in pre- and post-cardiac transplant care.
  • Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for Cardiac Transplant patients, working with a collaborative team of 16 other nutrition professionals.
  • Develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
  • Contribute to Quality & Performance Improvement initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
  • Mentor staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Must have two years of work experience in specialty preferred.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.

Skills

  • Specialty certification when required.

Pay

Salary starts at $70,000, negotiable based on experience.

Schedule
