Role Overview: Provides direct patient care on a telemetry unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating them on illness management and post-treatment needs. Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development. Key Responsibilities Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers to involvement.Participates in activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times. Qualifications & Skills Minimum education: Nursing diploma or associate's degree; BSN preferred.Licensure: Valid RN license.Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred if holding a bachelor's degree.Preferred skills include telemetry experience and a BSN degree.
