About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a busy Level I trauma center.
Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department
- Managing the medical care of patients undergoing surgery or procedures requiring anesthesia
- Conducting pre-anesthesia assessments and obtaining patient consent
- Discussing anesthetic options and associated risks with patients
- Performing induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring physiological conditions and performing clinical interventions as needed
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited institution
- ECFMG and FLEX certification
- Completion of an approved anesthesia residency
- Current medical licensure
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in anesthesia management
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and patient assessment abilities
