Staff RN in the Open Heart Recovery unit
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized post-operative care to cardiovascular surgery patients
- Monitor hemodynamics and administer medications
- Operate advanced cardiac equipment
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in care delivery
Qualifications & Skills
- Current nursing license
- Experience or knowledge in cardiovascular or critical care preferred
- Strong assessment and clinical skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning
