Cardiac Sonographer - Per Diem

About the Role

The Cardiac Sonographer performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures using techniques such as m-mode, 2-D, Doppler, and 3-D imaging to assist in cardiological diagnoses. Under minimal supervision, they acquire, analyze, and interpret ultrasound data, providing preliminary results for cardiologists.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure quality control.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• Certification as a Diagnostic or Cardiac Sonographer.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Pay

$40.53 - $51.67 per hour.
