A full-time Cardiac Sonographer II specializes in operating ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic cardiac and routine invasive procedures. They provide patient care across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, adhering to established standards and practices. Effective communication with staff and radiologists is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and invasive procedures
• Utilize ultrasound technology to deliver accurate imaging services
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
• Ensure quality patient care and effective communication with team members

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
• Minimum of 1 year of related hospital inpatient or outpatient cardiac sonography experience
• Licenses and certifications including BCLS, RCS, ARDMS, or CCI
