Cardiac Sonographer

About the role

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring a Cardiac Sonographer position. The role is full-time with travel, lasting 13 weeks. It is located in Temple, TX and works a 5x8 schedule, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate cardiac ultrasound services and procedures for adult patients such as transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress, used to diagnose and assess cardiac abnormalities.
• Prepare equipment, prep patients, explain procedures, review images, report findings, analyze patient clinical history to identify the purpose of the examination, frame clinical questions, and expand the examination as necessary.
• Utilize a variety of equipment and techniques to perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures and make necessary measurements for accurate, high-quality results.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• Level I Trauma experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification/Degree Requirements: BLS (AHA Only), RCS or RDCS.
• Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Solid color scrub, any color.
