About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to support cardiac diagnostic services in a hospital cardiology environment. This role will perform cardiac echocardiography studies, provide diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support, and maintain high standards of quality, patient safety, and clinical care.

Type: Travel Contract – 13 Weeks

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac echocardiography studies within the scope of the assigned role.
• Provide diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support in a hospital cardiology environment.
• Obtain and evaluate appropriate cardiac ultrasound images according to established clinical and departmental procedures.
• Work independently while maintaining quality standards and patient-focused care.
• Follow applicable imaging, patient-safety, infection-control, and departmental procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with cardiology, imaging, and other healthcare team members as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography.
• Current BLS certification.
• Appropriate echocardiography credential, including one of the following:
  • RDCS through ARDMS
  • RCS or RCCS through CCI
  • ACS through CCI
• Additional vascular credential, including one of the following:
  • RVT through ARDMS
  • RVS through CCI
  • RS through ARRT
• Prior travel assignment experience.
• Ability to work the required variable 10-hour day schedule.
• Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
• This is a travel-only assignment; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location.
• Floating is not required.
• No on-call requirement.
• Candidates must be available for the full 13-week assignment.

Pay

$48 – $51 per hour

10-hour day shifts, generally 8:00 AM–6:30 PM; schedule varies
