About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to support cardiac diagnostic services in a hospital cardiology environment. This role will perform cardiac echocardiography studies, provide diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support, and maintain high standards of quality, patient safety, and clinical care.

Type: Travel Contract – 13 Weeks
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac echocardiography studies within the scope of the assigned role.
- Provide diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support in a hospital cardiology environment.
- Obtain and evaluate appropriate cardiac ultrasound images according to established clinical and departmental procedures.
- Work independently while maintaining quality standards and patient-focused care.
- Follow applicable imaging, patient-safety, infection-control, and departmental procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with cardiology, imaging, and other healthcare team members as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography.
- Current BLS certification.
- Appropriate echocardiography credential, including one of the following:
- RDCS through ARDMS
- RCS or RCCS through CCI
- ACS through CCI
- Additional vascular credential, including one of the following:
- RVT through ARDMS
- RVS through CCI
- RS through ARRT
- Prior travel assignment experience.
- Ability to work the required variable 10-hour day schedule.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- This is a travel-only assignment; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location.
- Floating is not required.
- No on-call requirement.
- Candidates must be available for the full 13-week assignment.
Pay
$48 – $51 per hour
Schedule
10-hour day shifts, generally 8:00 AM–6:30 PM; schedule varies
