Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Cardiac Rehab RN, you will be a pivotal caregiver, guiding patients through critical cardiac recovery and empowering them and their families with life-changing support and education. Every day, you will expertly assess complex cardiac conditions, meticulously monitor patient progress, and collaborate seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team to optimize healing and long-term wellness plans, ensuring no two days are alike.
- Supervises the staff and department under the direction of the CNO.
- Provides direct nursing services to cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients, adapted to the patients’ age and needs:
- Initiates and revises the plan of care.
- Aids in discharge planning.
- Assesses patients.
- Provides education.
- Accurately documents each encounter.
- Demonstrates accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.
- Revises and initiates new policies according to AACVPR and facility guidelines.
- Takes immediate action in unsafe situations (example: proper tagging and reporting of equipment malfunction or wiping up water/urine spills).
- IRIS reporting.
- Shares expertise by mentoring, precepting, or teaching an in-service or class.
Job Requirements
- Required:
- Associate Of Nursing Sys/Div/Mkt/Local Supervisor OR Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of one (1) year experience in the discipline or three (3) years’ experience in the discipline or Master’s Degree Registered Nurse: ND
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within 90 Days
- PREFERRED:
- One-year ICU/Medical/Surgical experience

Pay Range
$26.82 - $39.90 /hour
