Cardiac Rehab RN

Job Summary

As a Cardiac Rehab RN, you will guide patients through critical cardiac recovery, providing comprehensive support and education.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the staff and department under the direction of the CNO.
• Provides direct nursing services to cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients, adapting to individual needs.
• Initiates and revises the plan of care, assists in discharge planning, assesses patients, provides education, and accurately documents each encounter.
• Demonstrates accountability for and contributes to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.
• Revises and initiates new policies according to AACVPR and facility guidelines.
• Takes immediate action in unsafe situations, including proper tagging and reporting of equipment malfunctions or cleaning up spills.
• IRIS reporting.
• Shares expertise by mentoring, precepting, or teaching in-services or classes.

Required Job Requirements

• Ancillary requirements include an Associate of Nursing System/Division/Marketing/Local Supervisor degree or a Bachelor’s Degree and at least one (1) year of experience in the discipline, or three (3) years of experience in the discipline, or a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• A Registered Nurse certification with NDBasic Life Support (BLS) - CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Prior experience in an ICU/Medical/Surgical setting is preferred.

Preferred Job Requirements

• One-year ICU/Medical/Surgical experience.

Pay Range

$26.82 - $39.90 /hour
