About the role
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This is a dual position that includes the job responsibilities of a Patient Care Technician, a Cardiac Monitor Technician, a Visual Monitor, a Mental Health/Patient Care Technician, or a Unit Secretary.
Responsibilities
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network certification required.
- Minimum of 6 months acute care experience as a patient caregiver, 1 year Skilled Nursing Facility experience as a patient caregiver, completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN program, or completion of a BayCare approved Nurse Assistant/PCT program with a minimum of 40 hours hands-on patient care experience outside of a lab setting.
- Full-time, exempt position with shift hours of 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Shift 3 (Nights).
- No remote work.
