Cardiac Device Monitoring Coordinator

Purpose & Scope

Provides administrative coordination of remote and in-person cardiac device monitoring for patients with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIED) — including loop recorders, pacemakers, and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) within the VHC Health Heart and Vascular Division. Serves as the primary administrative liaison between patients, Providers, and device vendors, and supports the department's evolving device management workflows and platforms.

About the Role

Ensures timely, compliant device monitoring by coordinating scheduling, transmission tracking, prior authorizations, and reporting for Cardiology and Electrophysiology Providers.

Responsibilities

• Covers administrative coordination of remote and in-person cardiac device monitoring.
• Serves as the primary administrative liaison between patients, Providers, and device vendors.
• Supports the department's evolving device management workflows and platforms.

Requirements

• Two Years Cardiac Device Monitoring Experience Is Required
• Two Years Healthcare/Medical - Medical Office experience is required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• College degree preferred.
