Department: Healient Clinic- Cardiology Clinic. Employment Type: Full-time. Location: Healient Clinic- Kansas City, MO. No Weekends/ No Holidays.

The Cardiac Clinic LPN plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized cardiology outpatient setting. Working closely with cardiologists and advanced practice providers, this position supports the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with cardiovascular conditions through cardiac monitoring, patient education, and coordinated care. Responsibilities

• Maintain HIPAA compliance, infection control, and accurate documentation
• Provide patient care: vitals, cardiac assessments, meds, and EMR documentation
• Assist with cardiology procedures: EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors
• Room patients and collect cardiac histories (chest pain, SOB, hypertension)
• Perform cardiac triage calls and escalate concerns as needed
• Coordinate care: referrals, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain it current
• IV certification upon hire

Schedule

Day Shift, 8-hour shifts from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays.
