Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

Role Overview

Perform imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment. Ensure safety, proper equipment maintenance, and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Apply radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning for optimal procedures.
• Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans according to established guidelines.
• Complete documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.
• Achieve assigned goals effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT(R)).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS within 3 months.
• Preferred certifications include ARRT(VI) or RCIS.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience meeting Cardiac Cath competencies.
• State licensure as required.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
