Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Cardiac Catheterization Unit in a hospital setting. This part-time role involves performing physiological monitoring, recording, and calculations for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the angiocardiography lab, ensuring radiographic procedures meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Executing all aspects of physiological monitoring and radiographic procedures
• Maintaining quality control in the lab
• Providing care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARRT-accredited program
• Additional training in angiocardiography
• California Radiologic Technologist certification
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Preferred: At least 2 years as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital
