Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities

• Makes sure everything runs smoothly in the Interventional Labs, including making schedules and solving problems.
• Ensures new products are checked for safety before they're used.
• Helps doctors and nurses learn about new equipment.
• Makes sure patients are safe during their tests and helps move them quickly.
• Handles all the day-to-day tasks for the whole department, like hiring new workers and making sure everyone knows what to do.
• Makes sure the department follows rules and stays safe.
• Looks for problems and finds ways to fix them.
• Teaches new workers how to do their jobs.
• Manages the team and makes sure everyone is doing a good job.
• Helps find new workers and makes sure they know what to do.
• Works hard to make sure the department spends money wisely.
• Talks to people in the department and outside to share important information.

Qualifications

• Has a bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Had at least 3 years of clinical experience in a critical care setting.
• Had at least 1-3 years of experience working in an Interventional Lab.
• Had at least 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Is licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Florida.
• Has a BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Has an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
