Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join their team. The hospital has a rich history of providing exceptional healthcare services since 1974, serving the medical needs of Clay County and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning
• Operate equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes

Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree in Health Science, including cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing RN
• Current or eligible for RCIS/RCES certification
• Graduate of an accredited associate degree or baccalaureate academic program in health science
