Cardiac Cath Lab RN, Full Time, First Shift

About the Role

Join Self Regional Healthcare, a well-respected organization committed to advancing care for the communities we serve. The Cardiac Cath Lab RN assists physicians with Cardiac Cath lab, Electrophysiology, implant, and peripheral procedures.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification using two patient identifiers.
• Ensure required documentation of ordered procedures.
• Administer and document medications and medication reconciliation as ordered.
• Perform patient assessments prior to, during, and post-procedure with documentation.
• Ensure continual hemodynamic status evaluation for all patients.
• Communicate patient status and procedural outcomes with providers and/or receiving nurses.
• Perform other assigned duties according to established policy and procedure as directed by the Director of Cardiovascular Services or Cardiovascular Manager.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in emergency care, critical care, telemetry, or cardiology procedures.
