Cardiac Cath Lab Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) –Warwick, Rhode Island

About the role

Kent Hospital, the second largest hospital in Rhode Island, is seeking a full time board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Catheterization team in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Schedule

4 ten-hour days (7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) with rotational STEMI call.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure assessments
• Provide intra-procedure assistance
• Manage post-procedure care
• Work in conjunction with Invasive and Interventional physicians
• Utilize EPIC EMR across the healthcare system
• Coordinate with Care New England’s and Brigham & Women’s network of specialty physicians

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Certified by NCCPA, ANCC, or AANPCB
• Active Rhode Island PA, CSR, and DEA license or eligible
• 2 years of relative APP experience preferred
