About the role
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist with advanced TEE certification to provide cardiac and general anesthesia services. Join a team of anesthesiologists, residents, fellows, and CRNAs within a mixed staffing model.
Responsibilities
- Practice cardiac, neuro, OB, thoracic, and regional anesthesia, excluding pediatric cases
- Perform cardiac cases such as Heart Transplantation, LVAD, ECMO, TAVR, Mitraclip, CABG, and valve surgeries
- Provide occasional coverage at affiliated hospitals, including home call with an average of one cardiac call per week
- Engage in after-hours and weekend work with additional earning opportunities
- Utilize Epic EMR system
- Work in a Level I trauma center affiliated with an academic medical center
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Medicine
- Medical license in Texas
- Active board certification or pursuit of certification in anesthesiology
