Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Center for Cardiac Anesthesia at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, a nationally recognized academic medical center in Center City Philadelphia. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, collaborative cardiac anesthesia service supporting a broad range of advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures within a care-team model.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic surgery, structural heart cases, and advanced heart failure therapies
- Practice in collaboration with cardiac anesthesiologists in an academic, team-based environment
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care in a fast-paced, tertiary/quaternary care setting
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
- Eligible for or currently licensed as a CRNA in the state of Pennsylvania
- Cardiac anesthesia experience preferred; motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiac anesthesia will be considered
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to teamwork and patient safety

The department is exploring a Monday–Friday schedule starting with 3/13s, while remaining open to other scheduling options.
