About the role
Carda Health is revolutionizing cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation through a virtual platform, serving patients who often lack access to traditional care. Founded by Harry and Andrew, both Wharton alumni with personal experiences in healthcare, Carda partners with major hospitals and insurers to enhance treatment accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee initial evaluations (asynchronous or synchronous) with patients
- Provide monthly treatment plans and referrals for RPM services as necessary
- Evaluate patient health histories and records, diagnose conditions, and refer patients to appropriate programs
- Offer lifestyle recommendations aligned with patient-specific goals
- Enter notes and other relevant information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Participate in occasional meetings and a quality assurance (QA) program
Requirements
- Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, or Pulmonology
- Licensed in multiple states, with priority states including Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Texas, Maryland, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Washington, Massachusetts, North Carolina, California, and Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, West Virginia
- A relatively clean criminal background check for ease of credentialing
- Not currently opted out of Medicare
- Willingness to complete credentialing applications promptly
- Experience managing cardiac and pulmonary patients
- Knowledge of cardiopulmonary training in basic life support or advanced cardiac life support
- Experience with virtual care settings and a commitment to learning and influencing new technologies
- Highly organized with the ability to develop, maintain, and scale repeatable processes (optional)
- Willingness to obtain additional licenses at mutual consent and with financial support
