Card Operations Accountant
Description
South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Card Operations Accountant to join their team of outstanding Finance professionals in North Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile a general ledger for an account.
- Provide management the daily outage and statistical reports.
- Research and resolve a credit card settlement adjustment.
- Reconcile the cash advances and partner with a co-worker in clearing an exception.
- Prepare journal voucher entries for posting and balance.
- Research and resolve a debit card settlement exception.
- Take a phone call from a retail sales teammate and assist them with a complex issue affecting a member.
- Validate the ATM cash delivery to cash orders and provide the appropriate general ledger entries.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
- At least five years of similar or related experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be a whiz at Excel, analytical, passionate about accounting principles and theory, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay & Benefits
The position has the potential for a hybrid schedule. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements of high-speed internet (200MBPS download; 25 MBPS upload, 50MS or less latency, and 30MS or less jitter) and be able to be wired into a router through ethernet to support required responsibilities. A data speed analyzer test may be administered, and a higher minimum speed may be required.
