Car Wash Site Manager A

About the role

Full-time position at Tunnel Wash BU – Region 01 – Market 07, 31373 State Road 54, Wesley Chapel, Florida 33545. Flexible shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train, and coach staff; schedule employee shifts with strict adherence to overtime policies
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and recognition
• Grow sales volume and increase site profitability
• Manage operating P&L metrics; understand how expenditures and costs impact business margins and pricing
• Ensure customer satisfaction; resolve inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner
• Ensure site follows all approved safety procedures
• Ensure site follows all approved vehicle damage claim procedures
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills, including active listening
• Experience with team building
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Ability to anticipate customer needs
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Three or more years of retail experience, with at least one year in a management role
• Supervisory or assistant manager experience from a big-box environment, auto industry, car wash, or lube store encouraged
• Unexpired Driver’s License required; motor vehicle record (MVR) check will be run post-offer

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand and walk throughout the workday
• Use of hands; reach with hands and arms
• Climb or balance; stoop, crouch, and kneel
• Work in damp and humid conditions
• Work in outdoor variable weather conditions
• Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs

Working Environment

Typical outdoor car wash environment. Noise level is usually moderate but can be excessively loud; hearing protection required along with other PPE. Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and wear Personal Protective Equipment such as hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection. Must perform the job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

Supervision

The team member must be capable of performing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
