Car Wash Operations Assistant Manager

General Summary Of The Position

Golden Nozzle Car Wash is seeking an Assistant Manager who will work with and for the location manager to learn the job of being an assistant manager of the car wash location. Assistant managers receive on the job training and will learn how all aspects of the car wash works.

Job duties & responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers using our customer service model.
• Be able to follow a sales model and work with the crew to do the same.
• Work in an outdoor fast-paced customer-focused environment.
• Monitor employee behavior and enforce compliance with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Hands-on management and lead by example.
• Enjoy team building including training and developing employees.
• Perform daily and weekly equipment assessments to monitor wash performance and identify any necessary repairs.
• Maintain site operations and provide guidance in troubleshooting any problem areas, including resolution of customer complaints.
• Ensure the site is stocked with appropriate inventory of necessary items.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the facility.
• Ensure the site operates in compliance with all OSHA requirements, applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work in heat and/or cold.
• Fast-paced and physical.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Able to organize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Able to lead and motivate a team.
• Able to lift/push/carry up to 50 pounds at times.
