Car Wash Operations Assistant Manager

General Summary Of The Position

Golden Nozzle Car Wash is seeking an Assistant Manager who will work with and for the location manager to provide hands-on training and learn the job of being an assistant manager of the car wash location.

Job duties & responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers using our customer service model.
• Work with the crew to follow a sales model.
• Work in an outdoor fast-paced customer-focused environment.
• Maintain employee behavior and enforce compliance with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Lead by example and engage in team building activities including training and developing employees.
• Perform daily and weekly equipment assessments to monitor wash performance and identify necessary repairs.
• Monitor site operations and provide guidance in troubleshooting problem areas, including resolving customer complaints.
• Ensure the site is stocked with appropriate inventory of necessary items.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the facility.
• Ensure the site operates in compliance with all OSHA requirements, applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work in heat and/or cold.
• Fast-paced and physically capable.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
• Able to communicate effectively, organize tasks, and lead others.
• Able to work up to a 45-hour work week, including one day on the weekend.
• Able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds at times.
