Car Wash Attendant - Part Time

About the role

Our Crew Members are responsible for providing an excellent customer experience to all customers using our facility. They will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering a clean, dry, shiny vehicle in a safe, fast, and friendly manner. Additionally, they help maintain the outside physical appearance of the site, equipment, and chemical and supply inventories.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
• Suggest and up-sell wash products and plans; assist customers with menu options and payment.
• Observe and maintain lane and tunnel flow; perform visual inspections of each vehicle prior to entering the tunnel.
• Process point-of-sale transactions efficiently with minimal error and correct minor transaction errors.
• Safeguard cash and comply with cash and safe drops.
• Maintain and clean all areas of the car wash, including outside equipment and supplies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on car wash equipment; notify management of malfunctions.
• Work safely and report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; previous customer service or sales experience required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented.
• Good accuracy and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds alone; regular use of a ladder.
• Physical stamina to work long hours with mobility to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
