Car Wash Attendant

Location: 8225 Moccasin Wallow Road, Palmetto, Florida 34221

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and explain the wash options available.
• Assist every customer at the pay stations.
• Field customer inquiries.
• Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
• Maintain the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Report to work on time and follow the dress and appearance code.

Duties Breakdown:
70% Customer Interaction
20% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining)
5% Opening/Closing Procedures
5% Basic/Light Troubleshooting of Daily Duties

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Ability to recommend different wash memberships to customers.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude.

Customer service and some sales experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday.
• Use of hands; reach with hands and arms.
• Climb or balance; stoop, crouch, and kneel.
• Work in damp and humid conditions.
• Work in outdoor variable weather conditions.
• Lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to noise.

Working Environment

• Work in a typical outdoor car wash environment.
• Moderate to excessively loud noise levels requiring hearing protection and other PPE.
• Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection.

Minimal supervision required for performing responsibilities.
