Car Wash Attendant

At Chevron Stations Inc (CSI), we sell gasoline and convenience products at our retail stations. Job Expectations & Responsibilities

• Guide customers onto conveyor using hand signals (we do not wash, dry, or detail vehicles by hand).
• Take customer orders for Unlimited Memberships and sell them within 15-30 seconds in a fast-paced environment.
• Learn Ducky’s at Chevron Wash Core Values prior to your first shift (compensated at hourly rate; bonus paid per membership sold).
• Master Ducky’s at Chevron Carwash Service Menu and Unlimited Scripts 100% before your first shift (compensated at hourly rate for training and testing).
• Maintain a positive attitude and interact professionally with employees and customers.
• Clean and maintain the car wash site and equipment.
• Assist guests with pricing, service questions, and awareness.
• Guide customers into the car wash tunnel.
• Sell additional services and unlimited memberships.
• Maintain and stock chemicals and equipment.
• Assist customers with transactions.
• Maintain a safe environment on-site while working with others.
• Educate every customer on services that best fit their needs by proactively explaining features and benefits.

Skills and Experience

• A customer-focused attitude with a smile—making people and their cars smile is key.
• Sufficient proficiency in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Demonstrated ability to be a motivated, cooperative teammate with confidence in work processes and goals.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and clear information sharing.
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills to keep the site clean and inviting (we clean for a living—our sites should reflect that).
• A resilient, consistent go-getter who sees every customer as a new opportunity.
• Enjoys staying active and engaged in tasks at all times.
• Ensures site appearance and cleanliness (especially bathrooms) always impresses customers.
• Maintains the highest level of professionalism in dress, demeanor, and customer interactions.
• Retail and/or hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and in-force liability insurance.
• Role models Chevron Way values.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods while working at a kiosk or entrance of the car wash tunnel.
• Job is outdoors and repetitive.
• Must work weekends, holidays, and various hours.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for management positions).
• Occasional travel between adjacent Chevron Stations Inc Express Wash locations.

Pay

$19.25 per hour.
