Car / Light Vehicle Mechanic
About the role
The Lindum Plant division is a leading specialist in plant and small tool hire, along with maintenance, repairs, servicing, and MOT testing for various vehicles and equipment. Our workshops are located at our main site in Lincoln and at our Business Park in Peterborough.
Responsibilities
- Perform car / light vehicle maintenance and repair including fault diagnosis, MOT preparation, and safety inspections.
- Drive a full driving licence, including category B+E.
- Preferred industry-recognized qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- Optional MOT testing qualification.
- Full-time role with basic hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, plus overtime as required.
- Cover the weekend rota and out-of-hours call out rota.
Requirements
Sound technical knowledge and experience with car / light vehicle maintenance and repair.
Qualifications
- Industry-recognized qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- MOT testing qualification (optional).
Skills
- Full driving licence, including category B+E.
