Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers on the showroom floor with professionalism and courtesy
- Engage with customers in person and over the phone to understand their needs
- Build strong relationships with customers and help guide them through vehicle selections
- Present vehicle options, features, and benefits in a clear and helpful way
- Clock test drives, vehicle demonstrations, and presentations
- Walk customers through the Grote Automotive car-buying experience from start to finish
- Review payment options with customers in a professional and understandable manner
- Complete appropriate paperwork and documentation for vehicle sales
- Maintain an up-to-date customer database to support current and future sales
- Follow up with past customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Adhere to dealership standards, policies, and expectations for customer satisfaction
- Use strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport
Qualifications
- Prior sales experience required
- Automotive dealership sales experience preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Excellent time management and follow-up skills
- Ability to build rapport and provide a great customer experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
