Buying Assistant
About the role
The successful candidate will report to the Merchandising Director and play a part in shaping our product offerings. This role requires a strong understanding of current market trends and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Support the merchandising team in buying and product creation processes.
- Analyze retail and digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, turn, and average selling price (ASP).
- Maintain an awareness of current market trends to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure product lines align with market demands.
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in footwear or apparel buying, merchandising, product creation, or retail in a vertical, multi-brand, or digital environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are required.
Qualifications
- Experience in footwear, apparel, equipment, or relevant consumer product buying and/or merchandising.
- Understanding of common retail and digital profit-based metrics (e.g., sell-through, turn, ASP, UPT).
- A strong affinity for current market trends.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player with adaptability.
Skills

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This role is hybrid: onsite Monday-Thursdays, and can work from home on Fridays.
