Responsibilities
The position involves developing and executing comprehensive capture plans following internal capture gate tools and processes, focusing on win strategies, themes, value propositions, gap analyses, teaming recommendations, and price to win strategies. Responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing capture tactics consistent with Shipley best capture practices.
- Conducting gap analyses and teaming recommendations.
- Formulating and codifying capture best practices while auditing capture plans developed by others.
- Teaching and mentoring operations and growth professionals in the capture discipline.
- Leveraging resources assigned to develop estimates of resource needs.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop compelling offerings in response to customer requirements at competitive prices.
- Elaborating customer requirements, needs, and wants with subject and technical matter experts, functional leads, and Program Managers.
- Gathering, assessing, and validating customer requirements.
- Evaluating the competitive field and their relative strengths and threats to Arcfield's bid strategy.
- Translating requirements into robust win strategies, carefully tested and validated, and advancing strategy to management and technical design with strong value propositions and differentiated bid elements based on compelling features and benefits.
- Identifying gaps and developing strategies to overcome weaknesses and mitigate bid risks.
- Leading and documenting lessons learned during gate, pricing, teaming, and capture reviews.
- Executing teaming strategies and negotiating teaming agreements and strategic alliances.
- Driving development and completion of critical bid artifacts required for proposal development.
- Supporting the Proposal Manager/Director by assisting in the development of compliant and compelling bid artifacts.
- Managing to budget and schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, or Master's degree (MS) in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, or Doctoral degree (PhD) in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, with 10-12 years of related business experience, or 8-10 years of related business experience with a Master's degree, or 5-7 years of related business experience with a Doctoral degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of capture management or related business experience in DoD and Fed/Civ markets.
- Extensive knowledge, experience, and success in capture processes required, including demonstrable understanding of contract types such as non-IDIQ, IDIQ - single or multiple award contracts, FFP, T&M, cost plus, etc.
- Ability to develop and execute a quick RFP triage process for Task Order RFPs, customer engagement, and Task Order proposal response.
- Proficient and proven ability in capture management based on industry best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and business acumen.
- Confidence and experience developing engagement summaries for senior executives; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time-sensitive, and multi-tasking environments.
- Ability to travel as necessary in support of the capture.
- Must possess and maintain a current Secret Clearance.

Min: $115,578.76
Max: $200,969.03
