About the role
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly motivated full-time pilot to join our team and operate our Citation CJ4. This is a single-pilot operation with an emphasis on safety, professionalism, and exceptional service to our principals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all flights in a safe, legal, and professional manner under FAR Part 91
- Plan and file all flight plans, weather analysis, NOTAMs, and route planning
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for all CJ4 operations
- Ensure aircraft is ready, fueled, and configured prior to each departure
- Aircraft/Hanger Management:
- Oversee all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in coordination with a maintenance provider
- Manage aircraft squawks, logbooks, and airworthiness documentation
- Coordinate and track annual inspections, avionics updates, and AD compliance
- Manage hangar arrangements, FBO relationships, and ground handling at home base and destinations
- Manage maintenance budgeting, vendor relationships, Textron Service Center coordination, database subscriptions, aircraft value preservation, and continuous improvement
- Maintain aircraft interior cleanliness and ensure the cabin is properly stocked with supplies, refreshments, and amenities prior to each flight
- Maintain hanger for cleanliness
- Passenger Logistics & Concierge:
- Coordinate all aspects of travel for principals and their guests: ground transportation, rental cars, hotels, and special requests
- Calendar management to reserve flights
- Serve as the primary liaison between owners and trip logistics providers
- Provide a first-class experience from departure to arrival — attention to detail matters
- Anticipate needs, communicate proactively, and handle issues quietly and efficiently
Qualifications
- Single pilot certification/training
- FAA ATP Certificate (or Commercial with instrument rating — ATP preferred)
- CJ4 type rating (or willingness to obtain — training available for the right candidate)
- Minimum total flight time: 3,500 hours (flexible for exceptional candidates)
- Minimum PIC time: 1,000 hours turbine or jet, single-pilot experience preferred
- Clean aviation record — no accidents, incidents, or violations
- Valid U.S. passport
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Prior experience in single-pilot jet operations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to self-manage
- Proficiency with ForeFlight, Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite, and standard aviation ops software
- Experience booking travel, hotels, and coordinating passenger logistics
