Finance advisors play a crucial role in supporting Morgan Stanley's various businesses and senior management.

Finance teams are actively seeking talented professionals in New York. Opportunities are available across the global finance organization, including Institutional Securities Group, Global Corporate Controllers, Reengineering & Expense Management, Treasury, and Investment Management Finance teams.

What You'll Do In The Role

  • Perform tactical capital calculations using data science technologies like Alteryx (ETL).

  • Support various initiatives related to capital calculations and enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Transform and automate legacy tools and calculations to modern technologies.

  • Build intuitive reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, providing valuable insights to end-users.

  • Contribute to reducing regulatory capital requirements and achieving cost savings.

  • Solve production process issues and conduct root cause analysis.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams in finance and across the firm.

  • Contribute to a high-energy work environment by adding value and being productive.

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.

  • Diverse thought processes and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience working with challenging stakeholders and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.

  • Proficiency with Alteryx, Python, ETL, Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, and MS Word.

  • Collaborative and relationship-building skills.

  • Motivation to be accountable and deliver positive results.

  • An ability to analyze information and present it within a set timeline.

  • Organizational and time-management skills.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and multitasking effectively.

  • A willingness to observe and improve upon existing processes.

Optional

  • An interest or familiarity with BIII Calculations.

  • Experience with MS Access.

  • Knowledge of scheduling tools.
