About the role

The successful candidate will join the Capital Markets team at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, a leading law firm with a focus on sophisticated corporate transactions, particularly in the power and utilities industries.

Responsibilities

- Engage in complex corporate transactions. - Work with clients on asset-backed/securitization matters, though not required. - Provide strategic advice to clients in the power and utilities sectors. - Draft and review legal documents. - Conduct legal research and analysis. - Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff.

Requirements

- At least 1 to 5 years of experience post-graduation (class of 2021 – 2024). - Strong academic record and excellent analytical and writing skills. - Admission to the New York Bar. - Experience in corporate transactions, especially in the power and utilities industries. - Asset-backed/securitization experience is considered but not required.
