About the role
This is not an employment role. The Fundraising Advisor role is designed for professionals experienced in:
- Startup fundraising
- Capital formation
- Investor relations
- Venture, private equity, or early-stage finance
Responsibilities
- Guide founders through equity fundraising strategy
- Prepare fundraising narratives, materials, and positioning
- Advisory on round structure, timing, and investor targeting
- Make warm introductions to angels, VCs, and LPs
- Support diligence, negotiation, and close processes
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience supporting capital raises
Qualifications
- Former or current investment bankers
- Fundraising consultants and placement professionals
- Venture partners and investor relations leads
- Operators with strong investor networks
- Licensed broker-dealers (where applicable)
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in startup fundraising
- Knowledge of investor relations
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
