Capital Projects Coordinator

About the role

Lane County is seeking a skilled and collaborative Capital Projects Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction and facility improvement projects that support essential public services across our community.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes and timelines
• Manage budgets
• Oversight procurement and contracting processes
• Coverage of project teams
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and compliant with applicable regulations

Requirements

• Educational and/or experience in project management, construction management, or similar
• Comfortable balancing multiple priorities, navigating competing interests, leading project teams, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications

• Eight years of education and/or experience in project management, construction management, or similar
• Background check is required
• Oregon driver license required at time of appointment
