About the role

The Senior Manager will partner with clients to identify construction and capital project delivery risks, technical challenges, and opportunities to improve the efficiency, governance, and performance of capital programs. They will develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking, devise solutions to support clients' needs through the use of the latest tools and methods, and foster lasting relationships with client personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and mitigate construction risks, including cost overruns, delays, change orders, and claims.
  • Develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking.

  • Lead teams, develop talent, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Translate and communicate issues, risk, or challenges to client personnel, including executives.
  • Conduct performance appraisals, mentor and coach, oversee and review of work, coordinate across teams, and understand how to motivate.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of construction project lifecycles, including planning, design, procurement, execution, and closeout.
  • Experience with construction and project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, e-Builder, Kahua, CMIC, or similar platforms).
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, PE, or similar.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field).
  • 8+ years of experience in Consulting, Construction, Engineering, Project Controls, or Capital Project Management.

Skills

  • Project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management across the lifecycle.
  • Contract strategy, procurement, and delivery models (e.g., EPC, design-build, CM at-risk).
  • Contract administration, including change order management, claims mitigation, and dispute resolution.
  • Project controls, including cost, schedule, and performance monitoring against KPIs.
  • Construction documentation review (budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and reports).
  • Contractor and subcontractor performance evaluation and oversight.
  • Auditing construction projects and capital programs, including governance and controls frameworks.
  • Identifying risks related to cost overruns, schedule delays, scope changes, and disputes.
  • Supporting or leading claims analysis, dispute advisory, or forensic project reviews.
  • Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.
  • Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
  • Successfully pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele.

Pay

$114,000.00 - $182,000.00

Schedule

Hybrid model combining in-person and remote work. Remote and in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors.
