About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Specialist within the Securities Lending team as a part of Corporate Investment Banking Operations. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfragojobs.com.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely, and accurate, returns, borrows, contract compare, account balancing, mark to markets, DTC monitoring, rate changes, billing, and Loanet matching for both international and domestic processing.
  • Work collaboratively with other Wells Fargo groups and logistical functions including PB, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, Market Risk and Credit Risk.
  • Ensure control standards are in line with Bank policy as documented.
  • Articulate all control deficiencies within a KRI, audit point or action plan.
  • Partner with Change Team to analyze and document current state processes and drive future state requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement to deliver on set quantitative goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of securities lending and operations platforms, including Broadridge, Loanet, Global One, and DTCS.
  • Solid understanding of financial products, securities lending, and trade lifecycle processes.
  • Experience partnering with program management and technology teams to define business requirements and support system enhancements, process improvements, and new business initiatives.
  • Congfident interacting with both internal and external clients while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong understanding of operational controls, risk management practices, and escalation procedures within a regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with daily time-sensitive deliverables.
  • Proven ability to prepare and deliver presentations, business documentation, and management reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business partners, clients, and senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay Range

$28.85 - $43.75
