As a Capital Markets ESOP Director within PNC's Corporate Banking ESOP Solutions team, you will drive sales activities for specific products or transactions, manage and develop client relationships, and deliver superior client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with relationship managers, investment bankers, traders, and other internal service partners to develop, market, and deliver capital markets solutions to clients.
  • Provide appropriate solutions based on in-depth assessment of client objectives and market conditions.
  • Develop and maintain client and/or investor relationships.
  • Coordinate the execution of key sales and marketing strategies, such as product structuring and distribution, to maximize sales and develop new business activity.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry and market developments, deal flow, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Provide coaching to other team members.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.
  • Typically requires a university/college degree; higher-level education such as a Master’s degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
  • Industry-relevant experience of typically 8+ years.
  • Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Licenses

Required licenses vary by role and must be obtained within specified timeframes after employment:

  • ESOP: SIE, 63, and 79 within 120 days of employment.
  • Public Finance & Healthcare: SIE, Series 52, and 63 (79 optional) within 180 days.
  • Asset Backed Finance: SIE, 7, 79, and 63 within 180 days.
  • DCM (Loan Syndications & Equipment Finance): SIE, Series 79, Series 7, and 63 within 120 days.
  • Derivatives: SIE, Series 7, and 63 within 120 days.
  • FIG: SIE, Series 7, and 63 within 120 days.
  • Fixed Income: SIE, Series 7, and 63 within 120 days.
  • Foreign Exchange: SIE, Series 7, and 63 within 120 days.
  • Fixed Income (Tax-Exempt): Municipal Trading and Underwriting: SIE, Series 52, and 63 (or Series 7, if taken prior to 11/7/2011) within 90 days.
  • Municipal Sales: SIE, Series 7 or 52, and 63 within 90 days.
  • Other appropriate licenses (e.g., supervisory licenses) may be required at the discretion of the manager.

Pay

Base Salary: $80,000.00 – $200,000.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
