Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to ensure capital planning and execution is aligned with business strategy, delivering competitive advantage, and providing exceptional value to Chemours.
- Oversee the end-to-end management of Chemours’ capital portfolio, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term business strategies and financial targets.
- Lead capital project governance and project prioritization processes, ensuring timely, data-driven decisions and clear accountability at every project phase.
- Foster the application of flexible project management methodologies, tailoring governance and execution approaches based on project complexity, value, and risk.
- Enable effective resource scaling and allocation across the capital portfolio, balancing in-house expertise and strategic outsourcing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field;
- 15+ years of progressive leadership in industrial capital project management, with a demonstrated track record of managing large, complex capital portfolios.
- Expertise in project controls, scheduling, and early engineering processes (FEL).
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP certification preferred), capital portfolio management, and industry best practices.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align technical initiatives with strategic objectives.
- Proven change leadership skills; experience driving cultural and organizational transformation.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage in a dynamic, matrixed environment and oversee multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to travel to manufacturing sites as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field;
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred;
- Experience with international project management is preferred.
