Capital Accountant

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and close capital projects in collaboration with project managers
• Oversee asset acquisitions, retirements, transfers, and depreciation using the JD Edwards ERP system
• Perform month-end system close and reporting procedures
• Complete monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
• Conduct plant reviews to ensure accurate records and strong internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Two to four (2–4) years of public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards
• Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and concepts to support evolving business needs
• Demonstrated ability to multitask
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders

Pay

Salary range: $69,750 – $102,300
