Capgemini Invent - Senior Consultant - Banking/Insurance Transformation Strategy

Responsibilities

• Support the definition and delivery of Banking or Insurance transformation roadmaps, including target operating models, process optimization, and technology modernization.
• Participate in diagnostic assessments across the insurance value stream — from product development, underwriting, and policy administration to claims, billing, distribution, and servicing.
• Translate business needs into transformation initiatives leveraging AI/GenAI topics, core platform modernization, data & analytics, and digital experience capabilities.
• Analyze operating models across the business, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and agility.
• Develop business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and change adoption plans for large-scale transformation programs.
• Collaborate with technology partners, systems integrators, and client teams to ensure business alignment through the full life cycle.
• Support go-to-market activities, proposal development, and thought leadership on emerging trends within the Banking or Insurance ecosystem, AI/ML in various operations, and cloud adoption.

Qualifications & Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Engineering ; a Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage
• 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry (Banking or Insurance sector)
• Experience in strategy/management consulting, preferably with a track record in Operating Model Redesign, Business transformation (lean management, re-engineering), Project Management, Finance and/or Product Control
• Experience leveraging AI/GenAI and data to enhance decision-making, automate processes, and drive operational efficiency across the organization
• Exposure to transformation strategy, or digital transformation projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly - visually and verbally
• A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for innovation and emerging technologies
