Capacity Planner - Staff

About the role

onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated candidate to join the Global Supply Chain Operations team, located in Phoenix, AZ. As a Staff Capacity Planner, you will participate in process and system transformation efforts for the global supply chain and its stakeholder organizations. You’ll be part of a highly innovative and collaborative global team operating at a fast pace to solve customers’ problems and build a better future. This role offers the opportunity to dive into complex problems, develop sophisticated solutions, and implement them with management support in a culture built on respect, performance, initiative, and fun.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Unit planning, marketing, and sales to understand demand signal trends and define capacity supply solutions.
• Lead cross-functional teams from Manufacturing and Operations to manage supply constraints and ensure timely resolution.
• Work collaboratively with Industrial Engineering and Finance teams to identify and justify capacity investment opportunities.
• Continuously enhance the Capacity Planning process to improve analysis quality and mitigate supply constraints effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience; semiconductor/electronics planning environment experience is preferred.
• Experience participating in large-scale change and transformation.
• Experience in Semiconductor Assembly/Test operations is a plus.
• Supply chain and process improvement experience.

Skills

• Business acumen and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and modeling tools (SQL, R, Python, Tableau, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with international teams, including Asia and Europe, is preferred.
