Capacity Development Manager | Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Set the vision for all capacity development for the network of partners and legal service providers
• Provide oversight and guidance to the team of instructional designers, content developers, community of practice specialists, Writers, editors, and subject matter experts.
• Lead and implement strategies related to legal services training and technical assistance, including a comprehensive training plan.
• Ensure all learning and development deliverables are on time and of high quality.
• Assure application of the latest innovations in adult learning theories and AI to create engaging and interactive learning materials.
• Support cross-team efforts to identify knowledge gaps and training and technical assistance needs.
• Ensure that all staff orientation training materials are current and designed to best support the learning needs of incoming staff.
• Oversee product development related to legal services training and technical assistance.
• Cook up and implement strategies related to the delivery of training and technical assistance services.
• Work with the Communication Lead to develop all strategies related to the broad internal and external communication needs of the project.
• Engage with the technology team to support the intersection of training efforts and the Learning platforms.

  Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience managing a task or service area including personnel and deliverables in a project or contract environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder and partner relationships, including balancing multiple perspectives/needs, for capacity building projects.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working with national training and technical assistance to develop the capacity of particular subject matter area or profession.

  Preferred Skills

  • Experience in project management, and instructional design.
  • Education and/or experience in the application of race equity, diversity, and inclusion of social justice strategies in human service settings.
  • Working knowledge of the refugee, immigrant, and asylee challenges.
  • Experience working for a refugee program.

  Pay Range

  There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $89,649.00 - $152,404.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
