About the role

We are seeking native Cantonese speakers to contribute to a language-focused project supporting the development and evaluation of next‑generation AI systems. You’ll use your Cantonese language expertise to assess text and speech, evaluate AI‑generated outputs, and provide detailed linguistic feedback. No prior AI experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Cantonese text and speech for accuracy, fluency, grammar, and contextual appropriateness.
• Review AI‑generated language outputs and identify errors, ambiguities, and improvement opportunities.
• Perform data annotation, labeling, and categorization tasks.
• Apply established evaluation guidelines consistently across language samples.
• Collaborate with project leads to clarify evaluation criteria and resolve complex language cases.
• Document linguistic insights and recommendations to improve evaluation processes.
• Support additional language quality reviews based on project requirements.

Qualifications

• Native‑level proficiency in Cantonese, including strong written and spoken communication.
• Experience in language evaluation, translation, linguistic annotation, transcription, or related language technology work.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with content moderation or language quality assessment is a plus.
• Comfortable using online platforms and digital evaluation tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
