Canton Outlet - Store Material Handler
Primary Duties
- Moving donated materials, salvage commodities, refuse, equipment/fixtures, or other designated materials on/off trucks
- Sorting materials properly into designated locations within the store
- Aiding in all areas of the salvage sorting process
- Cross-training to cover other specified job descriptions as needed
Specific Experience/Skills/Abilities
- Experience with the operation of personal computers preferred
- Ability to operate all tipping equipment
- Ability to use all appropriate safety PPE and follow all safety practices
- Knowledge of different shades and tones of color
- Knowledge of merchandise within a variety of categories
Basic Requirements
- High school diploma preferred or GED
- Ability to work varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical requirements including constant standing, constant bilateral reach and handling ability
- Constant fingering and pinch grip
- Requires constant ability to lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
- May require constant shoulder height reaching with either hand and firm grasp
- Frequent bending
- May squat
- Requires frequent ability to push/pull less than 20 lbs.

About the Role
Join the Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio team at the North Canton outlet store as a part-time Material Handler. Your primary duties include moving and sorting donated materials, assisting in the salvage sorting process, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
Must have high school diploma or GED, and be able to work varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include constant standing, reaching, handling, fingering, pinch grip, lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs., shoulder height reaching, and frequent bending and squatting. Must have knowledge of different shades and tones of color and merchandise within a variety of categories.
