This is a part-time position with variable daily work hours, year-round.
Distinguishing Features of the Class
- Available in the Recreation Department
- May require physical work for play and sport events
- Employees must be in good physical condition
- Performing repetitive work expected
Duties
- Working sport events
- Camp counselors
- Lead counselors
- Sport management
- Working at the Recreation Center
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Physical ability to work outdoors in extreme and adverse conditions
- Able to carry out oral and written instructions with minimum detail
- Able to communicate effectively and handle citizens tactfully
