Shift

This is a part-time position with variable daily work hours, year-round.

Distinguishing Features of the Class

• Available in the Recreation Department
• May require physical work for play and sport events
• Employees must be in good physical condition
• Performing repetitive work expected

Duties

• Working sport events
• Camp counselors
• Lead counselors
• Sport management
• Working at the Recreation Center

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Physical ability to work outdoors in extreme and adverse conditions
• Able to carry out oral and written instructions with minimum detail
• Able to communicate effectively and handle citizens tactfully

• Drug Testing Requirement: Candidates may be subjected to a drug test.
